Free pilot: we're reviewing a small number of books at no cost while we refine the process.

How this works

Show us how you made your work. We look at drafts, version history, recordings, public posts and witness accounts against our published Review Standard v1.0. The more complete your evidence, the easier the review.

You send us links to your evidence, we review it, and we tell you whether your work meets the Standard. If the first round isn't enough, we'll ask for more in an optional second round at no cost. Then we decide. If you pass, your work, title and ISBN go in our catalog, and you get a unique QR code to put on your books as proof.

SI reviews the evidence; a person makes every final decision. A seal is our reviewers' judgment on the evidence you submit, not a guarantee.

Record or livestream yourself working. Keep children and anyone who hasn't agreed out of frame.

Put your files in a Google Drive or Dropbox folder and share the link with "anyone with the link can view." Add links to Google Docs, YouTube, Instagram or anything else, one per line.

Share only what's needed to show how you made the work. Please don't include children or anyone who hasn't agreed to be recorded. Recordings are used only for your review and are never published. We don't use face recognition. We delete any copies we make 30 days after the decision, or sooner if you ask, and you can turn off sharing whenever you like. If we receive legal process for your data, we'll tell you unless the law forbids it.

Mail physical originals

Mailing originals isn't open yet. When it is, we'll keep originals in a locked location during review and return them by tracked, insured shipping within 30 days of the decision. Our liability for loss or damage will be limited to $500 per package. For now, photos or scans in your shared folder work well.
